National Heritage Week Training & Networks Days
To support event organisers for National Heritage Week, the Heritage Council will be hosting three Training and Networking events over the next four weeks. Find out how you can participate.
Who Are These Events For?
If you are planning or just even thinking about organising a National Heritage Week event for National Heritage Week 2024, then this event is for you. Anyone thinking about how they would create an event or digital project, the things they need to think about and how to promote their event should attend the Training & Networking Days.
Where Are the Events On?
The events take place in three different locations to give you as much opportunity as possible to attend. They are taking place in the following locations:
Dublin 27th April at Dublin Royal Convention Centre
Sligo 9th May at Sligo Park Hotel
Limerick 16th May at Absolute Hotel
Who is speaking?
There are huge host of speakers on topics as diverse as promoting your event, facilitating different communities, supports from your local authority, ideas for events and lots more. Each event will have different speakers so do attend the session that you think is most relevant to you.
What if I cant attend in-person?
If you cannot attend in-person, the good news is that the event in Dublin on 27th April will be live-streamed through the heritageweek.ie website. You will be able to watch the entire event get the same experience at those attending in-person.
How do I sign up?
To attend all you have to do is register to attend any of the events. You can register to attend any of the three events by following the link below.
