Willow Weaving Workshop

Tom Delaney, the talented craftsman behind Ould Crafty, will be sharing his knowledge at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park in this delightful Willow Weaving Workshop. Tom has made several television appearances and this National Heritage Week, he will be offering his skills to children in his highly popular Willow Weaving Workshops. Children will explore their creativitiy, learn the basics of willow weaving and take home a handmade treasure. All materials are provided and this workshop provides a welcoming space to learn and create while having fun with nature and art.

Based in Mayo, Tom is carrying on a tradition of basket making his grandfather started a long time ago. His craft development is all about connecting with people of all ages and he delights in bringing his craft to a whole new generation.
