Join us for a limited-edition Trinity Trails tour of the Old Anatomy Museum at Trinity College Dublin. This is a rare opportunity to gain exclusive access to the Old Anatomy Museum and Lecture Theatre, which are normally only accessible to staff and students.

Guided by Museum Curator, Evi Numen, delve into three centuries of medical education told through the stories and collections of models, specimens, historical illustrations, and artefacts.

Explore the 19th century halls where groundbreaking discoveries were made. Learn about the early history and pioneers of anatomy, the study of rare conditions, and the interconnected human experiences of health and disease that shaped the medical field.

This tour is designed for visitors aged 18 and over and not suitable for children. Please note that the museum includes human remains on display, please exercise discretion when booking. Photography is allowed in our lecture theatre, but it is strictly prohibited in the museum.

Accessibility: This tour is not accessible to people with mobility access requirements. There are steps both outside and inside the Old Anatomy Museum building and there is no lift access.

Meeting point: At the Campanile in Front Square.

This event is part of National Heritage Week 2024: Connections, Routes, and Networks. National Heritage Week is an initiative by the Heritage Council.
