Yeats Revisited @ The Ballinglen Museum of Art

To celebrate this important artistic legacy, The Ballinglen Arts Foundation & Museum has published a beautifully illustrated book exploring Jack B. Yeats' connection with Ballycastle and North Mayo. Rich in local history and featuring many images of his work inspired by the region, this publication has been made possible through the generous support of the Heritage Council and is available free of charge.

You are warmly invited to the official launch on Saturday, 15 August, from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

The evening will feature guest speakers Mick O'Dea, David Connolly, and Pat Pidgeon, who will reflect on Yeats' enduring connection to North Mayo and his lasting influence on Irish art.

Also on view will be a special exhibition, inspired by Jack B. Yeats, curated from The Ballinglen Arts Foundation Permanent Collection, highlighting contemporary artists whose work continues the tradition of drawing inspiration from the landscape and spirit of North Mayo.

Refreshments will be served.
