WW1 Memorial Dedication, Sentry Hill

Join us on this special occasion of the re-dedication of the memorial commissioned by Letterkenny Community Heritage Group in 2014 to commemorate the local men who died in WW1. The original sculpture had been vandalised, and it is fitting that we gather to re-dedicate the re- instated memorial and remember those who lost their lives during the Great War.

There will be a short prayer service followed by a brief talk on WW1 and on the lives of some of the Letterkenny men involved in the war. The Last Post will be sounded and we will then adjourn to Conwal Parish Church Hall for some light refreshments.
