Centenary Walking Tour of Iveagh Gardens Crumlin

A walking tour of the residential neighbourhood of Iveagh Gardens, as it reaches its centenary, built by the Iveagh Trust between 1926-36 as 'cottage dwellings for the labouring poor’. Led by resident and local historian Margaret Mason, this tour will focus on the built, natural and cultural heritage of the neighbourhood. The walk will take approximately 1 hour.

All welcome, but children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please book your place by emailing mgtmason1010@gmail.com as we are limited to 25 attendees.

Please note that car parking is extremely limited within Iveagh Gardens. Parking may be located nearby. We recommend walking, cycling or taking public transport.

Dublin Bus numbers 27, 56a, 77a, and 151 stop at the entrance to Iveagh Gardens and the adjacent Iveagh Grounds, number 150 stops nearby at the junction of Kildare Rd/Windmill Rd, and the 74 and S2 stop at the junction of Crumlin Rd and Sundrive Rd, a short walk away. The Red Luas line stops at Suir Rd and Rialto are also within walking distance.
