Friends of the Camac invite you to a walk and talk along the River Camac in Clondalkin Village and Clondalkin Park. Meeting on Water Heritage Day, Sunday 24th August outside the South Dublin County Council Civic Centre Plaza, Clondalkin (across road from Clondalkin Village Garda Station, parking in The Mill Centre car park), at 2pm sharp. Led by Patrick Ging, the walk will be fun for families, and individuals and groups interested in the natural and built heritage of the Camac River. Learn about the history of the river, and about its rich wildlife and biodiversity. The walk will take about an hour. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Terrain will require moderate mobility, and children and vulnerable walkers should be accompanied. Enjoy a fun hour or so along the Camac with Friends of the Camac members and while we hope for good weather, dress appropriately! We look forward to seeing you. FREE EVENT. NO BOOKING REQUIRED.

Moderate mobility and fitness required. Wear clothing and footwear that is suitable for exercise, and that is weather-appropriate.
