Voices of Killanne: Preserving local knowledge through community voices.

Voices of Killanne celebrates the stories, memories and experiences of people who have shaped our community preserving first hand accounts of life in Killanne for future generations. Childhood memories, family traditions, school days, farming life, community events, changing times, every story helps build a richer picture of our shared heritage in Killanne.

These stories are at risk of being forgotten as time passes but through this project these personal recollections ensure that the knowledge, humour and spirit of our community are not lost.
By recording these stories we are creating a lasting archive that will allow future generations to hear the people of Killanne tell their own stories in their own words.
