Visit Hamwood House and Gardens, Co. Meath in association with Historic Houses of Ireland
A unique private estate in the process of meticulous restoration where 12 acres of gardens have been laid out and rejuvenated by each successive generation since their establishment in the late 17th Century. Hamwood House is often described as one of Ireland's most beautiful houses, elegantly flanked by hexagonal pavilions in the Palladian style. This is one of the last remaining Georgian houses occupied by the same family since the completion of the building by Charles Hamilton 1 in 1777.
