Vikings landed in Tullamore with their crafters and fighters. Fighters will show weapons, armour, and fighting techniques in a 1v1 fight and shield wall. Kids will have the chance to fight the Vikings in their own shield wall.
There are many things that are wrong about the Vikings, about their society and how they were, so we will try to break stereotypes and give a historical picture of who they were, how they arrived in Ireland, what has been found in Offaly and much more
