McIntyre’s Bar in Dunkineely, Co. Donegal has long been a gathering place for Irish music, storytelling, and craic — a cornerstone of local heritage where tunes and friendships have been passed down through generations.

For the final day of the Dunkineely Reunion and Killaghtee Festival, we honour that tradition with a vibrant Trad Music Celebration, filling the bar with the sounds of local talent. Led by Kevin and the O’Donnell School of Music, this session brings together musicians of all ages to share the music that has shaped our community.

In true Dunkineely spirit, all musicians are welcome to join in, whether returning home for the festival or visiting for Heritage Week. It’s an open, joyful celebration of the living musical heritage that continues to thrive in Killaghtee.
