The Athy story is spread across three galleries located on the ground floor of the Shackleton Experience. This free guided tour offered by one of our expert guides covers Athy's medieval origins all the way through to the 1798 rebellion and beyond.
While the Athy Story, gift shop and cafe housed on the ground floor are free to visit, there is a charge to enter The Shackleton Experience Galleries. The tour is limited to a maximum of 10 people so pre-booking is essential to guarantee a space.
