Tour of Aughrim Battlefield

This is your chance to explore Aughrim's Battlefield! Infamous in story and song, Aughrim was the ultimate battle of the Williamite war which saw up to 7,000 men killed in July 1691. A hidden gem, the battlefield remains largely untouched and attendees will have the opportunity to engage with weaponry from the era, and explore key locations with expert guidance. Afterwards, we'd encourage you to visit the Visitor Centre and view the exhibition room and diorama.
The meeting point is outside the Battle of Aughrim Visitor Centre in Aughrim village and the tour will leave at 12 noon sharp.

Booking is recommended. There is a charge of 10 euro per person which can is payable by cash on the day, or via revolut. The Centre will open at 2pm for those interested in visiting after the tour.
Participants should be aware that this tour will cover rough terrain and suitable footwear should be worn.
