Join the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland for Heritage Week 2026 with a lecture covering the last five years of the community excavation at St. Anne's Park, Clontarf. Archaeologist, excavation director and IAI member, James Kyle, will discuss the findings from the community excavations which uncovered the remains of the now demolished 19th century mansion formerly owned by the Guinness family. James will detail the work completed to date on the St. Anne's Park Community Archaeology Project including artefacts, architecture and what's next for the project.

This project is coordinated on behalf of Dublin City Council by Archaeology and Built Heritage Ltd and the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland is delighted to partner with them for this event.

This talk will take place on Friday August 21st at 12pm in the Helen Roe Theatre 63 Merrion Square South (entrace is down the stairs, to the left of the front door).
