Talk on the Parnell Monument

A short talk on the Parnell Monument will take place on Wednesday, August 20th at 8 pm at the monument in Creggs, Co. Galway. The talk will be given by Seamus Ward, Chairperson of Kilbegnet Ballinakill Heritage Society and will focus on the link between Creggs and Charles Stewart Parnell. Creggs was the venue for his last public speech in Ireland on September 27th 1891. The talk will be followed by refreshments in the C. S. Parnell Heritage Centre in the village.
