Join us this Heritage Week for a talk and a guided tour of Hometree HQ woodlands and nursery with local historian Michael Conlan and Jeremy Turkington.
On the day they will give a talk a guided tour of Hometrees Ardnacullia HQ woodlands and tree nursery exploring the restoration of the relationship between the Irish people and our native trees. We will be demonstrating the planting of a potted Hazel to mark the 10 year anniversary of the passing of the woodland ecologist Professor Oliver Rackham.
What to bring:
• Wellies or good walking boots;
• A jumper and a coat, as it can get cold, wet and windy.
