Stories in Stones – Inishowen Heritage Festival 2026
Discover the stories hidden within the landscapes, monuments and communities of Ireland's northernmost peninsula during Stories in Stones – Inishowen Heritage Festival, taking place from 15–23 August 2026 as part of National Heritage Week.
The festival celebrates Inishowen's rich natural, cultural and built heritage through a programme of guided walks, heritage talks and unique experiences led by local historians, archaeologists and expert guides.

BOOKING INFORMATION
Advance booking is essential as places are limited.
Bookings open on 3 August 2026 via Eventbrite.
Meeting points, parking information and any event-specific details will be available on the individual Eventbrite booking pages.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear for guided walks. Some events take place on uneven ground and may be weather dependent.
Most walks last between 1.5 and 2 hours. One event includes travel between locations in participants' own vehicles.
