The interactive display brings together historical research, archival photographs, maps, illustrations and stories to reveal how the Cathedral has evolved through the centuries while remaining at the heart of Rosscarbery's spiritual, cultural and community life.
Visitors can also follow the accompanying four-part online history series, available through the iCAN Rosscarbery Heritage Archive, which explores:
Foundations & Mythos (600–1100 AD)
The Middle Ages
Expansion & Change
Modern Times & Legacy
Whether you have a lifelong connection to St. Fachtna's Cathedral or are discovering it for the first time, this exhibition offers an engaging opportunity to explore the people, places, and events that have shaped one of West Cork's most significant historic landmarks.
