Join us at the Sneem Story House during National Heritage Week for an evening celebrating stories of our parish. This special gathering brings our community together inside one of Sneem’s iconic historic buildings to safeguard both our architectural and oral heritage.
Event Schedule:
• 6:30 PM - Introduction by Fergal Harrington
• 6:35 PM – The Vision & The Building: Niall Scott presents our renovation and conservation plans for Little Church. Learn how removing the 1970s porch and restoring the vestibule and belfry masonry is essential to saving this historic building for future generations.
• 7:00 PM – The Living Tradition: Live storytelling session featuring local tradition-bearers Kieran Burns and Úna O'Neill
• 7:30 PM – The Digital Hearth: Watch our newly recorded video stories. Experience these preserved local voices and learn about our ongoing digital archive project.
