Skreen: Past and Future

In 2025 we completed a conservation plan for the Skreen Mediaeval Church and graveyard, including the impressive box tombs and other monuments. Come and hear more about the plan from the team that prepared it and wander the site to learn even more about the history of the church and area including ancient artefacts, interesting people, and intriguing events.

The graveyard, mediaeval church ruins and "new" church, are open throughout the week. As the grounds are rough and uneven, visitors to the graveyard and mediaeval church should wear suitable footwear and exercise caution.
