Seed Bombs & Pollinator Heroes workshop
In this workshop for children aged 6 - 12, participants will discover the importance of bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while making wildflower seed bombs. Róisín O’Connell “The Irish Flower Whisperer” will give a fun presentation about pollinators and then lead the participants in making seed bombs using clay, compost, and native wildflower seeds. At the end of the session children will have a better understanding of biodiversity and ecosystems, the role of pollinators in food production and their own role in environmental stewardship and the importance of protecting our natural heritage, which is at risk.
