Rush Seating of Chairs

Demonstrating the skill of rush chair seating in the súgán tradition.
This is a drop in event allowing people to try it themselves and learn the skill.

Here at Kilcoe Studios we have been using our hand harvested local rushes to learn this lost craft. Come and see it in action and maybe bring your own chair in need of reseating to see if we think it might be suitable

We are based in an old building with steps up to it, there is side entrance in the archway which is more accessible.
