Road to the Railway Vintage Car and Tractor Run

We’re delighted to announce that our 2025 Vintage Car and Tractor Run will take place on Sunday 24th August, starting and ending at Donegal Livestock Mart with food and music to follow in the museum.

We’re doing things a little bit differently this year by teaming up with the Bluestack Foundation, with half of all proceeds from the run and raffle going to supporting the incredible work they do for people with additional needs in the community. While the cars, tractors and other assorted doo-dads are out on the run, we’ll also be hosting a fantastic programme of family-friendly events in the museum throughout the afternoon. There will be no admission cost on the day, only donations, and these will all be added to the fund to be split with the Bluestack Foundation!

We want to make this a really special day, and we’d really love a strong turnout of cars, tractors, motorbikes, steam traction engines – anything vintage with wheels, and even that’s negotiable. We’ll be rounding out the afternoon back at the museum, where there will be refreshments provided by the Bluestack Shack for all drivers/passengers and some live music in amongst the historic Donegal railway stock!

Entry: €20 per vehicle
