Mary (https://marymary.ie/) is a reformed internationally acclaimed landscape designer who launched her career at the Chelsea flower show in 2002, the story of which was made into a 2016 movie called “Dare to be Wild”. Bestselling author, inspirational speaker, occasional television presenter and founder of the global movement “We are the ARK” - (acts of restorative kindness to the earth) to encourage the restoration of native ecosystems of any size; rewilding and reweaving nature together, patch by patch. Appearing as designer and advisor in the recently aired TG4 environmental makeover series Réabhlóid ar Chúl an Tí.

Learn and help to construct a dead hedge, a life-giving habitat that gives shelter and homes to wildlife, returns nutrients to the earth, reuses unwanted vegetation, a rewarding and creative task that you can adapt to your garden .
