Restoring the Heart of RCSI, St Stephen’s Green

As part of Heritage Week 2026, RCSI invites you to attend a special joint lecture on the exciting past and bright future of our original premises, 123 St Stephen’s Green.

Dr Ronan Kelly, author of the most recent history of RCSI, will introduce highlights of the College’s 240-year story, including its central role in the 1916 Rising. Alistair Lindsay, Conservation Architect, will reveal the specialised restoration work currently underway to protect this historic landmark for generations to come. Due to the ongoing restoration works, the talk will be held in our new building at 118 St Stephens Green.

Throughout the week, visitors will also have the opportunity to explore ‘Heart: more Than a Beat’, the current exhibition in Humanarium, our new public exhibition space and café. To learn more about Humanarium, please visit Humanarium.ie

Registration will be required to attend the historical talk and will open at the beginning of August.
