Rathanna N.S. Memories- Screening of the Final Documentary

Rathanna I.C.A. welcomes you all to the screening of our documentary "Rathanna N.S. Memories".

This documentary explores the memories of past pupils, teachers and members of the community of their local primary school, Rathanna N.S., which was closed in the 1960s.

This Heritage Week event will complete a project our group started in 2022. We look forward to sharing our project with members of the community who have an interest in both education and social life during the 20th century.

We encourage you all to come along to our coffee morning and share in the watching of this documentary. We hope the morning will be a fun-filled, sociable event with many of our A-list interviewees present to enjoy their time in the limelight!

People of all ages are encouraged to attend and learn more about what life was like when Rathanna N.S. was a centre for education. Stories relating to small rural primary schools are a valuable part of our shared history and we hope our documentary will be an invaluable resource for the future generation to deepen their understanding of local social history.
