Photography Course with Owen Clarke

This photography workshop invites children to discover the art of observing, capturing, and preserving the world around them through the lens of a camera.
With over twenty years of experience as a photographer and videographer, Owen Clarke will introduce participants to the creative and documentary possibilities of photography. Through practical activities, children will learn how images can tell stories, record important moments, and preserve memories for future generations.

The workshop will also explore photography as a tool for conserving the heritage of Tory Island, documenting its landscapes, traditions, people, and community events. By learning to look closely at their surroundings, children will discover how they can become the storytellers and guardians of the island’s visual heritage.
