Traditionally on the feast of St Senan Liath, pilgrims came from near and far to pray at the holy well Doonass and do the rounds / leave offerings. This was known as Pattern day and many traditions and stories grew around this day.

To celebrate and remember this important day on the 15th August at 3pm members of Clonlara Heritage group will hold an exhibition of old photos and talks on the traditions associated with St Senan's holy well in the old community centre Clonlara. Music will be provided by local musicians. Teas/ coffees and refreshments will be available.

Members of Clonlara Heritage Group will be delighted to hear and record any stories or memories of Pattern Day or scan any old photos on the day.

A selection of the photos will be displayed in our local coffee shop 1312 Brew during Heritage Week.
