Open Day at National Transport Museum Howth

The National Transport Museum, Ireland's only museum dedicated to preserving and restoring commercial road vehicles, will be open free of charge to the public.

The museum's collection includes more than 50 historic vehicles, including trams, buses, military vehicles, trucks, and fire and emergency service vehicles.

Attractions during the day will include:

Open-air displays of heritage vehicles
A photographic exhibition showcasing historic transport vehicles
Talks on Ireland's transport heritage and the challenges facing vehicles at risk of being lost to future generations.
