Nature's Rhythms on Griston Bog
Join us on August 16, 2026 at Griston Bog and experience the rhythms of nature through music, dance and art. Come ready to explore the vibrant beats of nature and connect with others in this unique, hands-on experience! We are celebrating the start of Heritage Week and Ballylander's Pattern Day.
We kick off with two free drumming workshops- one for children/families at 12:00 PM and another for adults/teens at 1.30pm. Experience the power of drumming together in the beautiful natural surroundings of Griston Bog Nature Reserve. Booking is essential for the workshops - see booking details below.
The main event runs from 2-4pm. It begins with a special performance showcasing a fusion of Sean Nos dancing and African drumming, followed by a Trad Music and Art Walking Trail and tea on the bog. This is open to all and does not require pre-booking.
Booking is essential for the drumming workshops- text 087 264 5952 or use Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/natures-rhythms-drumming-workshops-and-pattern-festival-at-griston-bog-tickets-1994551419989).
