  • St. Munchin's, Corbally, Limerick
  • V94 925C
  • Co. Luimneach

Join us for an engaging talk exploring the fascinating world of pollinators that work both by day and by night. Discover how bees, butterflies, hoverflies and other daytime pollinators help our plants and food crops thrive, while moths, bats and other nocturnal wildlife play an equally important but often overlooked role after dark.

We are delighted to welcome two outstanding speakers for this event: Albert Nolan, a leading moth specialist and biodiversity expert, and Jennie Drysdale from Doonbeg Tidy Towns and the Faith Communities Return to Nature Project. Learn simple, practical actions that faith communities, Tidy Towns groups and local communities can take to support pollinators. From creating pollinator-friendly planting schemes to reducing light pollution and providing habitat throughout the year, every action can make a difference. Together, we can help nature thrive around the clock and create healthier, more biodiverse communities for people and wildlife.

Suitable for Tidy Towns groups, faith communities, gardeners, community groups and anyone with an interest in nature, families welcome children must be accompanied by an adult at all times - event is suitable for children aged seven and over.
