Join Ballivor Community Council as they host a special evening celebrating the area's rich cultural heritage through history, music and poetry.

The highlight of the evening will be a fascinating talk by Isabella Mulhall, Assistant Keeper of Irish Antiquities at the National Museum of Ireland, who will explore the remarkable discovery and significance of Clonycavan Man, one of Ireland's most famous bog bodies.

The programme will also feature:

Traditional Irish music
A poetry reading by award-winning Meath poet Tom French
Further traditional music throughout the evening
Free Raffle: All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a selection of books on Ireland's famous bog bodies.

Following the programme in the library, everyone is invited to continue the celebration with tea, coffee and sandwiches in McLoughlin's, beside the library, with more traditional music and conversation.

Come along for an evening of discovery, culture and community as we celebrate our shared heritage during National Heritage Week.
