To celebrate National Heritage Week, visitors are invited to contribute to the local cultural heritage by recording and sharing their own memories, stories and connections to Kylemore.
From family visits and personal experiences to local stories passed down through generations, each contribution will help capture the many ways in which Kylemore has been experienced, remembered and valued over time. These memories will be collected and displayed throughout the week, creating a unique community archive shaped by visitors and local people alike.
By sharing personal stories, participants will help preserve an important aspect of our heritage. While buildings, landscapes and objects tell part of Kylemore’s story, the memories and experiences of those who have visited, lived in or connected with the estate form an equally valuable part of its cultural legacy.
