Join us for an exciting Marine Bioblitz, a hands-on marine adventure where you can explore the rich biodiversity of our local seashore! This is a fantastic opportunity for all ages to get outside, discover, and document the amazing marine species that inhabit the intertidal zone. University College Dublin are teaming up with Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and the National Biodiversity Data Centre to raise awareness of the incredible marine biodiversity on our doorstep, and what you can do to contribute to its protection.

What to Expect:

A captivating talk on marine biodiversity, highlighting the importance of preserving our coastal ecosystems
Guided exploration along the seashore to identify and record marine plants, animals, and invertebrates
Learn how to use simple tools and apps for species documentation
Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or just curious about life beneath the waves, come be a part of this unique citizen science adventure! Your observations will help scientists monitor and protect marine life for future generations.
