Did you know Lusk has a long history as a market town going back hundreds of years, Lusk also has a long an glorious tradition from its monastic settlement and iconic Round Tower to its surrounding gardens and farms making it one of the greatest food producing areas in Ireland today. Lusk’s noble tradition in the 20th century of market gardening and its large glass house production of fruit and vegetables is something to be proud of.

Murrays car park on Market Square in Lusk is at the heart of the town and next to the Celtic Round Tower and Norman Belfry. This is the location for our Heritage Farmers Market taking place during Lusk Community Heritage festival and part of Heritage week 2026.

The market will be open for three Saturdays 22 & 29 August and 5 September from 9:30am to 1pm. There will be a range of local fresh produce, arts & crafts, coffee and cakes available. The market is supported by Fingal County Council and Lusk Town Team

Lusk Heritage Festival provides a great opportunity to revive the market tradition of Lusk which is at risk of been forgotten. It also meets the theme of Heritage Week 2026 “Heritage at Risk”
