
Life Writing workshops with David McLoghlin
This series of three creative writing workshops explores Heritage in terms of memory and personal and local history and gives participants the space to practice learnings during in-class writing exercises as well as share their work. David McLoghlin is a highly experienced facilitator of creative writing, particularly life writing (memoir), personal essay and poetry. His third collection of poetry (Crash Centre, Salmon Poetry, 2024) was recently shortlisted for the 2025 Pigott Prize via Listowel Writers Week. An essay from a book he is writing about his grandfather, the golf architect Eddie Hackett, is forthcoming in Golfers Journal in the USA.
