Lace and Local History: An Evening of Heritage at Whitestown House
Step through the gates of Whitestown House this Heritage Week for an evening of craft, conversation, and community in aid of One Plate for Palestine.
On Thursday, 21st August, 6–8pm, join us for a lace-making demonstration with artist Jack Ó’Meara, reviving an elegant skill once cherished in the big houses of Ireland. Then, wander the grounds with architect and local heritage guide Ian Lennon as he shares stories of Whitestown’s past and the history woven through the surrounding countryside.
We’ll serve refreshments, and there’ll be time to linger, talk, and soak in the atmosphere of a house that has long been a keeper of local tradition.
Tickets: €25 per person | Children free
Location: Whitestown House, Naul, Co. Dublin, K32 XY97
