Kildare One of Irelands Oldest Towns - A Guided Walk

The Tour uncovers the story of Kildare from its early Christian Roots to its Medieval development accounting for some of its lost and endangered Heritage (ie Town Walls, the Castle Structure and both the Grey & Black Abbeys). This is a wonderful opportunity for visitors and locals to learn about one of the oldest towns in the country.

This tour is centred in Kildare Town and will involve crossing roads, and although mainly flat will require slight changes in levels going from footpath to roads.
