Kells Walking Tour

An architectural conservation area walking tour of Kells will explore, showcase and educate participants about the historical, cultural, and architectural significance of the designated conservation area. During the tour, participants walk through the conservation area with Meath County Council’s Architectural Conservation Officer, observing various buildings, streetscapes, and landmarks. The walk hopes to provide insights into the history, architectural styles, notable architects, conservation efforts, and stories behind the structures. This will be an engaging way to learn about and appreciate the architectural and historical heritage of protected structures and the designated conservation area through walking and storytelling – all ages welcome!
