Our native Irish plants are woven into the stories, traditions and folklore of our landscape. Join Denise Dunne from The Herb School for a fascinating foraging walk in her home village of Naul, where we’ll discover some of our native and naturalised plants and explore the myths, legends and traditional beliefs associated with them.
We’ll then step further back in time with a private visit to Fourknocks passage graves, one of Ireland’s remarkable prehistoric megalithic tombs. Discover the ancient landscape and consider how our ancestors may have understood their relationship with the land, plants and the natural world around them.
