Irish Landmark Trust: Open Day at Railway Crossing Cottage

To celebrate National Heritage Week 2026, Railway Crossing Cottage will be open on Sunday 16th August from 10am to 4pm.

This is a free event offering a self-guided tour. Once the ninth crossing cottage on the Killybegs branch of the County Donegal Railway when it was opened in 1893, now sensitively restored as self-catering accommodation.

A picture-perfect red and white cottage in a wooded setting, visitors can imagine a life gone by while exploring the conservation work undertaken by Irish Landmark Trust.

Parking available for up to 3 cars.
