To celebrate National Heritage Week 2026, Loop Head Lightkeeper's House will be open on Sunday 16th August from 10am to 4pm. This is a free event offering a self-guided tour of the restored house at the iconic Loop Head. Visitors can step into the original lightkeepers' footsteps, while exploring the conservation work undertaken by Irish Landmark Trust.

There is a free public car park at the entrance to the Loop Head compound.
