'If These Walls could Talk' - Uncovering the History of Celbridge Workhouse

Join us at the General Paints Group Head Office in Celbridge this Heritage Week for a unique opportunity to step back in time and explore the remarkable history of our building – once the Celbridge Workhouse, built during the Great Famine.

Hosted by General Paints and guided by local historian Cathi Fleming, this special event brings to life the stories of those who once lived within these walls. Through interactive tours and historical insights, guests will learn about the workhouse's role in the community from its establishment in 1839 to its present-day transformation into the Colourtrend headquarters.

The event will be held at our head office on Maynooth Road, Celbridge, Co. Kildare (W23 X7R8). All are welcome to attend this free event, but registration is required as spaces are limited.
