Cub Scouts from Murroe-Boher Scout Group carried out a survey of a local waterway - one that is an important site for salmon spawning. They tested water quality at 3 different points along the river to see if water quality changed as it passed through farmland and a local wastewater treatment plan. Come find out how they carried out their survey, what they found, and try your hand at identifying macroinvertebrates too. Refreshments provided. A small book and cake sale will also take place to raise funds for scouting activities.
