Hidden Heritage : Viking Graves of Islandbridge

The Irish National War Memorial Gardens built in the 1930s is located south of the river Liffey at Islandbridge, but did you know the site has a much older history and is considered one of the most extensive Viking cemeteries outside Scandinavia ! The Phoenix Park Visitor Centre is hosting an illustrated lecture detailing the discovery of the burials and their significance. All welcome.
