Heritage open day and Lá Gaelach

Teach John Micí Bán located at Milford Road, Carrigart, County Donegal, F92 Y576, will be participating in National Heritage Week, which takes place from August 16th to 24th. They will be hosting two events, Heritage Open Day and a Lá Gaelach.
On Heritage day, August 16th, visitors are invited to explore the museum and learn about rural life in the early 20th century. This event will feature a spinning wheel demonstration by Lorna Shannon. Music and song will be provided by the Duffy Sisters.
Teach John Micí Bán is a museum that showcases artifacts from rural life in the early 20th century, housed in a building that was once a family home. It is known for its collection and the owners’ willingness to share stories and knowledge with visitors.
