Jack's Cottage comes alive during National Heritage Week 2026.
Experience crafts, displays and skills from its heyday. Activities include bee keepers, basket making, bog oak sculptures, woodturning, forge, vintage tractors and car displays, children's farm including donkey cart rides, sheep, hens etc. Take part in children's games from the past. There will also be a photographic and information display about the newly fully restored 25 meter, 19th century obelisk, in the former Rehins estate. Teas and coffees and snacks available. All welcome between 2-5pm. Fun for all the family.
