Botanical Sketching with Natural Tools and Inks

Join artist Lily Bernard for a unique guided walk and creative workshop combining nature sketching, ecology and biodiversity in the historic setting of Belvedere House, Gardens & Park.

Discover and learn to identify Irish native and horticultural plants that form part of our natural and cultural heritage through artistic observation. Using handmade drawing tools and natural inks crafted from plants and minerals, participants will explore the beauty and diversity of the landscape while developing their observational and creative skills.
No drawing experience is required. Participants are welcome to bring a sketchbook, although materials will also be provided.

This event is suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather, walking outdoors and possible paint stains. Light refreshments will be provided.
