Harvest Looms with the Chester Beatty: Workshop for Families

This National Heritage Week join us at the Coolock Library to weave your own mini loom using recycled materials, textiles, foraged plants and twigs. Weaving is one of Irelands most treasured traditional crafts. We will be trying out different weaving shapes and designs, and looking at the ways these looms can be used – as decorative wall hangings, or a device to preserve and display dry flowers. Limited to 20 children and their parents or guardians. FREE, booking essential.
