Guided Tours of Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois

Nestled in the heart of County Laois and home to the Cosby family since 1620, Stradbally Hall is a magnificent Georgian mansion surrounded by 550 acres of ancient woodland and parkland. The current house, built in 1772 and later expanded by renowned architect Charles Lanyon in 1868, retains elegant Georgian features including a finely decorated suite of rooms overlooking formal gardens.

During Heritage Week, visitors are invited to explore the house’s rich history, architecture, and stories passed down through generations. Tours are led by a family member offering personal insights into the house’s legacy.

Stradbally Hall is a proud member of Historic Houses of Ireland.

Tours on the hour from 2pm. Final tour at 5pm. Please come to the front gate on Main Street a few minutes before the hour and follow instructions from security personnel.
